Changed his name to reflect who he became. Changed his religion. Stood up to the American government. Stood up for peace. Gave up his freedom to protest an unjust war in the prime of his life/career. Was the best boxer ever! Lived in dignity with Parkinson Disease for more than 30 years. Truly a great man. I’m not given to admiration, but I respected and admired Muhammad Ali.
